What the AI does — and doesn't do — here

A shejire needs exact truth. That's why the AI isn't asked to find the truth, but to understand you and explain.

Understand your sentence — It splits free text like “my ancestor Абай, his father Құнанбай” into name, father, ру and place.
Forgive spelling — Latin letters, a missing letter, a different spelling — it still finds the same person.
Tell namesakes apart — If many people share the same name, it picks the single question that rules out half of them.
Explain itself — It tells you why: “the father's name matches and the branch is the same”.

Invent ancestors — Every suggested person really exists in the records; if a name outside the list comes back, the system drops it.
Suggest living people — Suggestions come from historical records; information about living people never enters this flow.
Save on your behalf — No link you haven't approved is written to the tree; joining an existing family still goes to approval.
Teach the model your data — Your name, e-mail and account details are not sent to the model; the conversation is not stored anywhere.
